HOW TO WRITE A GOOD ARTICLE?
The first qualification to write a good article is having a good command over the language you write the article in. so it’s obvious while writing in English one needs to know the frequently used idioms, phrases, and proper usage of these. For a native speaker of the language this would not be much of a problem, but for non native speakers of the language,it is imperative to know these. Reading English novels would certainly help sort this thing out.
Next comes the knowledge about the article we write. We need to know the minutest of details about the crux we have decided to write the article on. This helps us express ourselves better without the fear of being rubbished by others. For this we need to be confident about the credibility of the details we know about the core of our article.
The knowledge of keywords involved in the core of the article is also important. Each field has its own group of jargons and keywords and their exact use in the appropriate place is of paramount importance because without these jargons the article may seem alien for someone who has been in that particular field.
The internet is always there for the knowledge of the crux and jargons as mentioned above. Use the search engines to know about the core to the smallest detail. Countercheck the details gathered with other search results and never stop with the first one, for the first one need not necessarily be correct and that ahen detected may show you in poor light.
The language we present our article in is another major aspect when it comes to article writing. The article should not contain complex words which makes the reader refer a dictionary each time. Having said that, the writer should not overcompensate either by writing in a child like language. A balance should be struck and the article should be presented in a lucid, understandable form, for it is written only to be understood by others. Clarity and simplicity are the words for the writers.
Make the article devoid of any superfluous data or sentences. A reader would prefer reading an article of 500 words with essence rather than a 100 word article of waffle which does not suggest anything at all.
It would help if the article is written in a humorous way because many readers may be turned off reading an article in an official tone.
Present your article in parts. Segregating the article into paragraphs will improve the readability of the article. Naming each paragraph appropriately would be excellent.
Giving statistics or providing numbers related to the article will help the reader understand the article better; things like survey results will help readers know the real condition.
In the concluding paragraph, provide suggestions, recommendations related to the topic.
Give the links related to the topic. This helps the reader to know further details about the topic you have written the article about.
