Tough economic times and increasing cost of living force us to think of alternative ways of cutting costs. Many of us drive long distances to our work places daily, and our fuel bills are soaring. However, there is no proportionate increase in our pay rate to compensate for high fuel costs. Many people are switching to motorcycles to handle the situation effectively; for others the increasing fuel cost is just an excuse to get back on to our motorcycles without raising eyebrows.
Using motorcycles helps us cut down our fuel bills drastically, plus it is much easier to maneuver a motorcycle in heavy traffic when compared to a car. Moreover, it is great fun riding a motorcycle.
Though we know that switching to a motor cycle increases fuel efficiency, some of us hesitate either because we have never ridden a motorcycle before, or because it has been too long since we last rode motorcycles and are not confident whether we will be able to do it again. If you are one of those hesitant people, don’t worry, all that you need to do is to join a training course to learn for the first time, or to brush up on your riding skills. Central Massachusetts Motorcycle School offers various courses for those who would like to learn or to sharpen their motorcycle riding skills. The training courses that they offer are short courses that will easily fit your schedule. Before joining any motorcycle training school you must make sure that they are certified by relevant authorities to train people in Motorcycle safety. Central Massachusetts Motorcycle School is certified by Motorcycle Safety Foundation and the MA Rider Education program.
They offer Basic Rider Course, Experienced Rider Course and private lessons depending on your requirements. The Basic Rider Course is for beginners who have little or no riding experience, and is a two days course taught for 15 hours. Experienced Rider Course is for people who have at least one year and 3000 miles of riding experience.
If you complete a Basic Rider Course or Experienced Rider Course, then you would have automatically fulfilled the RMV or Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles road test requirements, which means that you don’t have to take the road test again to get your license. Furthermore you will also get a 10% discount on your insurance. Visit http://www.ridercourse.net to find out how to get your motorcycle license and your 10% insurance discount.
