Regenerative Thermal Oxidation Benefits Factories and Environment

In the past, this process was necessary for the health of industrial workers and the world beyond. However, it was also tremendously wasteful, as great amounts of energy were poured into the thermal oxidation process, effectively being lost to productivity and profitability. New developments, though, have enabled thermal oxidation to be modified into a process less fraught with waste and more financially feasible—regenerative thermal oxidation (RTO).
Regenerative Thermal Oxidation processes still neutralize dangerous toxins and organic compounds; additionally, RTOs capture the energy released by the oxidation of these compounds, funneling significant amounts of energy back into running the processes—which greatly reduces the amount of new energy consumed by the factory. In fact, some process gases contain enough contaminants that the energy released by the oxidative processes is sufficient to make the Thermal Oxidizer effectively self-sustaining, which solves two environmental problems in one highly efficient process.
RTOs are noted for their reliability and sustainability, characteristics crucial to processes that must typically be run every moment your factory is in production mode. Well-designed RTO systems have terrifically low failure rates and require only minimal maintenance for years of safe and successful operation.
