Place the coils inside the large cooler and measure where to drill your holes as accurately as possible.

Step 3: Fit PVC pipe in holes.

Cut PVC pipe to fit in these holes. You’ll want the PVC pipe holes because you’ll need to tighten down the shanks and you won’t want to collapse the sides of the large cooler.

Step 4: Fit and Seal

Use silicon to hold the PVC pipe in place and to fill the space between the large cooler and the pipe.

Step 5: Place and Tighten

Place the shanks in the PVC and tighten.

The first hour after a fish is caught is the most crucial for its stored lifespan. Proper procedure and care can add three to six full days of  life without having to dump them in a freezer.
