Great Yarmouth is located on the east coast in Norfolk and is thought of by many to be one of the most important places within the United Kingdom for taking a Vacation. This gorgeous seaside resort is one of the most romantic spots to visit and has many attractions to keep the entire family amused from start to finish.

The first ever UK commercial wind farm is situated at Scroby Sands just offshore, which has a visitors centre with free {{{admission|admittance|entrance|access displaying a variety of models and interactive displays. Scroby Sands also attracts seals, which you can see best if you go on one of the numerous boat rides on offer.

You might just desire to chill out on the beach, but there is plenty to do if you want more action. Great Yarmouth has several sea front theme parks offering the entire family a incredible days entertainment. There are rides for the kids as well as more exciting ones for the thrill seekers, so if you are the courageous type this is a must for you. There is also Britannia Pier which houses the Britannia Theatre and also an amusements area which is fun for all the family.

Great Yarmouth even offers pantomimes during the summer which is fairly unusual, so if it is raining there is always something to do. The Tollhouse which dates back to the 13th century, is believed to be the oldest civic building in Britain and you may desire to visit the dungeons there to experience the building’s gruesome past. Great Yarmouth also has a well-known horse racing track which pulls thousands of people every year and is a fantastic day out for those who love a bet on the horses.

If you enjoy shopping then Yarmouth doesn’t disappoint and it is indeed worth your while visiting the Market Gates shopping centre, where you will find scores of recognizable shops as well as some more exclusive premises. So whether it is exhilaration you’re after or just a mellow relaxing break, Great Yarmouth caters for all.
